“The Boy and the Red Balloon” is a first in a series of children’s books inspired by my son, Kian.  He is a bright, happy boy who challenges his parents everyday.

 

  

    He also had his own challenges that he has overcome.  He is now able to speak and communicate with everyone around him.  But it was not always that easy.  As a parent seeing one’s child’s emotions get the better of him knowing fully that he knows what he wants to say but the words are not flowing as easily, is tough.  But with his hard work and little support from everyone around him he is now able to  verbalize all of his thoughts and emotions!! Everyday is a learning day for all of us!

The story of the Boy and Red Balloon has many layers that deal with emotions, simple understanding of surroundings and dealing with defeats and triumphs but never giving up.
